Northern Beaches Music Studio offers a safe environment where you can release your full musical potential by exploring a variety of musical styles and genres.

Lessons are available Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at a mutually suitable time for one hour duration.

Mission:	Cathy's approach to teaching involves assessing the existing musical skills of the student as well as their interests. Goals can then be set to allow a clear focus for lessons. Repertoire is chosen from a variety of musical styles and suited to each student's point of musical development. Support is given in different ways including giving written details about the important points covered in each lesson, definitions and explanations of musical terms as necessary and what needs to be practised between lessons. Beginners of all ages are catered for as well as those students wishing to build on existing musical skills. Preparation for school performances, AMEB and Trinity College examinations, eisteddfods, auditions and all performance scenarios are catered for. Anyone interested in improving their voice, piano or musicianship skills in any way is welcome.

Term Dates:	The studio is open for most of the year, except for a short break over Christmas. Each individual student, however, is free to negotiate their own holidays with Cathy. As Cathy began Doctoral studies at the University of Western Sydney in 2005, occasional changes to lessons are made in consultation with individual students as needed to allow attendance at various courses and conferences.
